Oshun Reed is working on a companion book to her memoir, Love Me. The new book is titled Surviving and Thriving Bipolar: A Family Guide to Living Well with Mental Illness.

This book will be published in November 2024 and is based on Oshun's extensive family experience of bipolar disorder. Four of Oshun's five adult children were diagnosed with bipolar before her diagnosis in late 2016.

Her second eldest son, Nash, was the first to be diagnosed on New Year's Eve at the age of 15 years old. Nash's experience paved the way for Oshun's family to support a loved one with a mental illness. The family collectively and individually learned all there was to know about the disorder and how to manage it.
